QPAD, the Swedish company famed for its premium gaming gear, today announced the release of episode 7 in the series of Tips & Tricks starring Emil "HeatoN" Christenssen. The latest episode is called - HeatoN Counter Strike Tips & Tricks - Tactics.

For a team to be successful in this day and age it requires a solid strategy going in to each round of play.
Post Game
cp_yukon_finalBlight came out the gate on cp_yukon_final and grabbed a quick first round. A strong compLexity squad was not phased and responded with their own fast round win to make it 1-1. In the 3rd round coL ran into some trouble with very strong play by Blight, but they were able to group and make a strong final hold to take a 2-1 lead.
In Round 3 of the lower bracket, coL and Loaded will square off with hopes of advancing to the lower bracket finals where they will face the loser of EG vs Excello which is scheduled to take place shortly.

After a dissapointing loss to EG in the Upper Bracket Round 2, coL looks to work their way through the lower bracket as they take on ULTIMAX, a team that was sent into the lower bracket in their first match of the tournament.

ESEA Lan Finals for Season 5 are well under way and just moments ago coL.cs beat DINC 2-0. Next up for the guys will be the number one seed Evil Geniuses. EG received a first round bye.The maps for this series will be de_nuke and de_lite.

ESEA-Invite Season 5 kicks off Friday March 12th to Sunday March 14th in Dallas, Texas. 6 teams will battle it out for a $6,000 first place prize, as well as the possible title of "America's Best Team." Matches are set to start at 11:30AM EST on Saturday, March 13th.

After a slow start to the season coL.cs was able to turn it up and qualify as the 4th seed. They did not recieve a bye in the first round and instead will be taking on the former Pandemic squad, now known as Damage Inc.The match is scheduled to get underway tomorrow morning at 11:30AM EST.
ESEA-Invite Season 5 kicks off Friday March 12th to Sunday March 14th in Dallas, Texas. The Team Fortress 2 teams participating in this season of ESEA Finals are compLexity, Evil Geniuses, Blight and Pandmic. Team EG and Blight will be kicking off the first TF2 match tonight at 8:00 PM CST on cp_badlands, followed by Saturday's match, compLexity vs.

ESEA has released the official schedule and with three divisions all competing at the same time, the action will be intense. Below is the official prize breakdown and the official schedule for the event:

Only days after returning home from Hannover, Germany, coL takes to the skies once more today as we travel to Dallas, Texas, the home of the ESEA Season 5 LAN Finals. In the air today will be both coL.cs and coL.TF2.
Voting has concluded and the all-star matchups are set for CS 1.6, CS:S and TF2. Making up a majority of the slots for both CS 1.6 and TF2 are coL players, listed below. Over 21,000 votes went in to these selections.

David "dchozn" Cho has recentely produced yet another episode of the ESEA Instructional Video series, using the coL vs DINC match from the ESEA Season 4 Finals in February. coL's Andrew "Irukandji" Timmerman and Ryan "Ninespot" Bell have narrated the match from coL's perspective, while Anthony "djibouti" Manosca narrates DINC's take on the match-up.
Yesterday, Valve announced that Steam and all Source engine games will be coming to Mac this April. Many fans have been emailing Valve asking questions like if it is necessary to buy another version of TF2 if you own a Mac (or vice versa).Just a few minutes ago, the TF2 developers over at Valve released a blog at Teamfortress.

The Grand Finals of the Intel Extreme Masters Global Finals Counter-Strike division have just come to an end and history has been made. For the first time in not only IEM history, but world CS history, a Ukrainian team has managed to take home the trophy. Na`Vi came into the tournament virtually unnoticed, not even predicted to make the top 3, but they proved everyone wrong, taking down the likes of coL and EG on their way to the finals where they took on last year's champion, Fnatic.
On April 15, 2010, it has been announced that Microsoft will discontinue the Xbox Live for the original games for the original Xbox and the Xbox 360. What this means is that you can still play the original Xbox games in single player or offline mode, but can’t play them online.
With this announcement, Microsoft is giving Halo 2 fans a reward for getting rid of online portion.
