DotA-VIP.com Goes Offline Dota-vip.com

Dear DotA-VIP.com users, Today the management of DotA-VIP decided to shut down the entire project and for some this doesn't come as a surprise. We have for some time discussed how we could solve it so we didn't have to end it like this but we concluded that it simply wasn't possible. Since April 2007 where the DotA-VIP project was established it went through a lot, from a simple in house gaming community it turned out to an Esports DotA community, promoting the game we all like very much, Defense of the Ancients. However during the process of creating a greater international DotA community the very backbone of DotA-VIP, [pl] bio, couldn't support the project as much as he wanted lately due to internal real life issues. As this hinders the entire development the management decided to shut down the project. It was a great time we all had and we thank you very much for being here with us along the way. The management tried its best to help promote DotA as a whole in the Esports section and it was a pleasure doing it and giving it a try, others had different visions for DotA-VIP but this is the story of DotA-VIP. Greetings and thanks to all who in someway or another contributed to the DotA-VIP project and special thanks to bio for being a faithful companion along the way. The french multi gaming organization [fr] Xeo Divine expanded their DotA team as they yesterday announced the addition of a national DotA team. With this addition, Xeo Divine is now in charge of two DotA teams competing in the competitive DotA scene. Xeo Divine explains that they find it as a natural step, to support a national team as well since the roots of the multi gaming organization is from [fr] France. The newly recruited national team were known as Extensive [EX] but from now on they will go under the tag of [fr] Xeo.Fr. It's the belief of Xeo Divine that there aren't that many known french teams to compete on an international basis, caused by french gaming organizations not supporting it. However Xeo Divine states that their national team will be competing in french leagues, ladders, local events and afterwards they will be competing internationally. Furthermore, Xeo.Anfere will leave the manager position from Xeo.s2s to become the new manager of the newly recruited team. The manger for Xeo.s2s will be the former player Xeo.Snif who will support his team as a manager from now on. Ravens Maelk, MaNia and Angel - Interviewed Dota-vip.com

Lately the roster changes within Ravens.DotA brought a lot of attention and confused a lot of people and fans in the DotA scene, however Fragster did an interveiw with some of the players, [dk] Maelk, [dk] MaNia- and [dk] Angel. In the interview some of the topics, which brought confusion along with it was enlightened such as the case with [dk] Rasmus "MiseRy-" Berth. Furthermore the aspects of the upcoming European Nations Cup and DotA's future was topics that were discussed. Interview snippet from - Fragster.de The last few days have been a little bit confusing. Can you tell us what exactly happened out of your point of view?Brian 'MaNia' Strandby: For me it started a few days ago when H4nn1 informed us that he was joining Kingsurf.international. We had been practising for a while with Miggel and Angel from Ravens for European Nations Championship. We thought about recruiting them both for MYM a bit before last Dreamhack but after PlaymatE did such a good job at LAN, we decided to get him into our roster instead. Now when we were clanless our old fire for playing on the same team rekindled and we finally made a serious decision out of it. I'm of course sorry that it mostly went out on Misery even when Ravens were doing so well.Misery told us that you kicked him out of the team without any reason.Martin 'AngeL' Oslson: Ever since he joined he had some behavoir problems. We spoke to him about them more than 5 times. After he couldn't change it, mostly me and Miggel decided to kick him. He was not only being unfriendly towards other teams but he was also really good at racking us down and whining. That's the main reason why he's not in Ravens anymore. And it can't be a shock for him, since we have been asking him so many times to try to change, otherwise this won't work out. You can read the full interview with Angel, MaNia and Maelk right here. Mousesports.DotA officially disbanded - again Dota-vip.com
- 1
For some time the rumors were floating around about mousesports.DotA being disbanded once again, and unfortunately it has just officially been announced that mousesports.DotA has disbanded the team. Since their comeback in March 27th they have been competing and participating in different tournaments, however the team could not reach the goals and certain criterias they had for themselves due to internal conflicts. By not being able to work and train as they wanted, it resulted in the team deciding to disband and end the era of mousesports.DotA. According to the manager [de] Rene Lannte, the German multi-gaming organization mousesports will no longer support the game of DotA anymore due to the lack of professionalism. Official Statement - [de] René "Rene" Lannte (Administrative Staff Member) With the surprising disband of our DotA team, we decided to close the DotA chapter in mousesports. We're not willing to support DotA teams anymore and therefore putting more attention into other games like Pro Evolution Soccer or FIFA. Whole DotA team will be released. During Easter a lot of rumours about a disband of our DotA team were published and highly discussed. For us it was completely surprising and we never got informed about such plans or actions. Because of this lack of professionalism we decided to stop all DotA activites in [mouz] and we're not willing to host another DotA team. Instead we're rather willing to put even more efforts in WarCraft III, Counter-Strike, Pro Evolution Soccer and FIFA for example, all games with highly professional competitors. We say good bye to some very talented players and to our beloved team leader Kim "Drayich" Larsson and wish them all the best for the future. Kingdom.DotA disbanded Dota-vip.com
- 0.5
Yesterday a statement was made by the team captain [dk] Jacob "[K]Maelk" Toft-Andersen stating that the team Kingdom.DotA decided to disband. According to the captain the team couldn't team up anymore due to the players having other desires and not being able to keep up. The team once known as Meet Your Makers were known world wide as one of the best European teams as well as international. However after the bankruptcy of ESNation the backbone behind the organization, all the teams parted ways with the MYM organization. According to Jacob "[K]Maelk" Toft-Andersen, the fall of MYM resulted in the team eventually falling apart, however they are not the only ones struggling, the former Counter Strike team is having a hard time as well. The only former MYM team that has found a new home is the Warcraft III squad, which found their new home within the organization of Evil Geniuses. Statement - [dk] Jacob "[K]Maelk" Toft-Andersen "We have decided to shut down the team. Kai has had a desire to play with Ks.int for a long time. Their playstyle fits him perfectly and they have his longtime friend, Levent, and of course KuroKy who is also German, so its an obvious move for him to take. Personally I find them stronger than ever, and with their current form it's probably the strongest lineup there has ever been. As for the rest of us, Pusher, MaNia- and I have been focusing on the upcoming Europeans Nationscup and playing with an all Danish lineup has rekindled the fun of the game. One of the reasons why we weren't performing in the end, was probably because each of us played and practiced with different teams. Kai with the Germans, Loda with his Swedes, us with our Danes whilst Ben has been more or less busy with school, meaning we had three to four different opinions on how the game should be played, which didn't work out as it has in the past. As for Loda, I am not sure what he is going to do, but our focus is mainly on the Danish team and our actual lives over the course of the summer, so I doubt we'll be building up anything together. Was a great ride, but it all fell apart with MYM coming to an end. I wish all of the guys the best of luck in their future teams". Kingdom.DotA achieved a lot and had big success during their time, known as one of the best teams ever in the competitive DotA scene they made themselves a great reputation. DotA-VIP.com wishes all the players the best of luck in the future and hope they will rise again either as a team or as players in new teams. Source: DotA-Allstars.com

Asian team Impreza disbands Dota-vip.com

The team [sg] Impreza was one of the dominating teams in Asia and they made some impressive performances and produced great results. Being the national dominating team in Singapore and also providing great results on an international basis such as in the Farm4Fame series they were a great deal of threat. Through heavy roster changes such as losing their longtime leader they still managed to keep up. However, [sg] Paul "lemion" Ng decided to leave the team and this resulted in team Impreza disbanding. Accordingly to lemion, the team was not improving and it resulted in him quitting the team. It's said that he already found a new team which will be announced soon, however the other remaining players situation remains unknown.
