Experiment: Article Pages As Default - Update

Over time multiple people e-mailed me suggesting a small, but significant, change to the website. It seems people want to check out the details of an item before being redirected to the source website. Basically behaviour like the recent launched iPhone application.

It has always been possible to go to an article subpage by clicking the 'read more' link. This is a bit harder so I've changed to default behavior. Why? Because I can! :)

Please use the comments to give feedback. Do you like this behavior or should it be changed back to the old settings?

Enjoy your weekend!

Update 10/10/10:

Experiment ended. It seems more people prefer the old system so I've changed it back.

1 year ago #2 For me it's the same, turn it off. I get annoyed when I try to open them in a new tab and gets the information instead :P

1 year ago #4 Ah, it seems you guys prefer the direct linking. I'll keep it like this for at least one more day. If the user reactions stay like this I'll change it back tomorrow.

1 year ago #5 what might be cool is to have the entire row clickable and it expands to show you the quick and dirty details of the link, unless you click the link title which directly links you to the article.
