Since the viewership success of this January's HomeStory Cup IV, project initiator Dennis "TaKe" Gehlen has announced the date and the coming qualifiers for the July 5-8 event.
Similar to the last edition, five qualifiers will lead up to the event. Each qualifier victor will receive a spot at HomeStory Cup V and an all expenses paid trip to Krefeld, Germany where the event is held.
Players who has already qualified for the coming tournament are Mihaylo "Kas" Hayda and Ilyes "Stephano" Satouri. The duo ended top two in an invitational tournament held in May. Unfortunately the latter mentioned is unable to attend the event.
The rest of the participants will be decided by the tournament organizers.

Actually, it doesn?t just seem that way; it is exactly what is happening. Deeb?s third SCOOP title of the PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker came, once again, in a Stud Event. This time it was event 26-H, the $2,000 Stud High/Low with a $75k guarantee.

For those not familiar, The Micros is a series of animated video shorts revolving around poker and featuring three online grinders named Chase, Max, and Balls. Fans of the series will be disappointed to learn that future episodes are not yet planned for production, but will be delighted to hear that they can now get their Micros fix via a web comic strip.
"As it turns out, animation is really 'spensive, so instead of struggling to put out an episode every few months we're going to post web comics featuring the same characters hopefully a few times a week," Says co-creator John Wray. "If and when we get sponsored we'll get back to making cartoons, but in the meantime we hope you enjoy these."

Aiemmin tällä viikolla uutisoimme, että belgialainen WinFakt-organisaatio päätti erottaa suomalaisen CS 1.6 -tiiminsä. Paistit-nimellä aiemmin pelannut miehistö ei ollut ilmoittanut suunnitelmistaan fnatic PLAY -liigaan liittyen.
Nyt asiat ovat kuitenkin ruvenneet selviämään, sillä eestraliksen korvaa entisen WinFakt-miehistön liigassa. Mutta toisin kuin KerchNET:n korvatessa Natus Vinceren, eestraliksen ei tarvitse pelata WinFaktin aiemmin pelaamia otteluita uudestaan, vaan ne tulokset jäävät voimaan. Näin ollen eestraliksella on lohkovaiheessa edessään enää vain pelit fnaticia, SK Gamingia sekä Anexista vastaan.
